Carroll County Ohio is a beautiful area with wonderful people, rolling hills, great schools, and a long drive to the nearest Wal Mart store. Carrollton is our County Seat, and where we would like our new store. This store would only be 15 miles from a large Wal Mart Distribution Center, thus easy to stock! :-)
My Goal:With the closing of Ames, our community lost a great deal. We had one of the last remaining Ames stores to close. The reason for this given by the store's manager was that our Ames store was still turning a very attractive profit. Since the closing of our Ames, we have been waiting on another store to take its place. The "rumor mill" has been strongly suggesting that our community was destined for a Wal Mart store since years prior to the demise of our Ames. After the closing of Ames, the rumors have only grown. We still wait. Rather than to sit by, idle and waiting, I felt a more "pro-active" approach may be the way to go. We will see. I stand ready to provide any needed information that Wal Mart may need to begin construction of a Super Wal Mart in Carrollton, Ohio. I will even help lay up a few blocks if this will be of assistance. (free of charge of course) I am not looking to profit from this. I have no hidden agenda nor land to sell, or "secret scheme" but only wish to restore a quality retail store to our area, and after allot of research, a Super Wal Mart sounds like our best option by far. Wal Mart has an excellent business ethic and would benefit our community by adding jobs and providing a quality group of products at fair prices.
